Broaden your career prospects by studying Science and Social Sciences together. With 246 majors – from bioinformatics and chemistry, to psychology and statistics – the Science component gives you the flexibility to sample a wide range of subjects before deciding on your specialisation. Talented Students Program: The Science Talented Students Program introduces high performing students entering the Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) to cutting-edge, world-class research at UNSW Science. The program offers these students exposure to research, networking opportunities and provides a degree that is flexible and tailored to suit students' needs and talents.
Invitation to participate in the program is made by the Dean of Science on the basis of outstanding secondary education performance (ATAR or equivalent). All incoming students are assessed for eligibility including non-high school leavers. High performing current UNSW Science students in the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) will be invited to join at the end of their first year.
