Overview

Students are prepared for a career in one of Australia's high demanding and most rapidly changing industries. Students benefit from working with modern technology and tools including robotic total stations, drones, satellite imagery and laser measurement systems for 3D mapping and visualisation of the natural built environment. Students develop practical experience with the technical, analytical and leadership skills they'll need to succeed. Majors

Toowoomba and external: geographic information systems (GIS); surveying. Springfield: surveying.

Potential Career Outcomes

Land and property development, mining, engineering surveying, land surveying, geographic information systems (GIS), drone photogrammetry and remote sensing, mapping.
