The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science prepares graduates to work with people who want to improve their health, fitness and wellbeing, or their sporting performance, or those who want to prevent chronic conditions.
The degree is focused on anatomy, physiology, human movement, exercise physiology, exercise prescription and sports conditioning and training, and includes opportunities to specialise in exercise science or education. Students access facilities that include fully-equipped exercise physiology, biomechanics and biochemistry laboratories, multi-purpose sports hall and weight-training gymnasiums.
Graduates can pursue further study to become an allied health professional in areas such as clinical exercise physiology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition/dietetics or to become a PDHPE teacher.

Exercise scientist in sports coaching, strength and conditioning, personal training, performance testing, gym instruction, occupational rehabilitation, health promotion, sports management.
