Overview

This course produces graduates with an understanding of the processes and mechanisms of human physical activity. Students focus on how physical activity enhances human performance in occupational, sport, exercise, and leisure settings. Foundation studies include anatomy, physiology and psychology, followed by applied and advanced studies in exercise physiology, sports medicine, functional anatomy, biomechanics, health promotion, sport and exercise nutrition, and sport and exercise psychology. Students have access to world-class technical, training and testing facilities, including our new state of the art JCU Sport Performance Hub.
