Do you love the world of sports and recreation? The Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management is a specialist degree focused on the management of human and physical resources and facilities in the sport and recreation industries. You will gain a sound knowledge of the biophysical, behavioural and sociocultural foundations of sport and physical activities, combined with a range of management skills and knowledge necessary to work in various sport and recreation professions.
Graduates will discover that studies in psychology are widely transferable and valuable across many industries, and complement studies in areas such as the law, human resources and management, sociology, behavioural science, data analytics and social justice.
Aboriginal people, change management, community approaches to health promotion, developmental psychology or organisational behaviour, innovation & entrepreneurship, physical activity & health, population approaches to health promotion, strategic management.
Player management, recreation centre management, professional sporting club management. Other career opportunities could include employment at: Sport and Recreation Associations, Government agencies and councils.
