Overview

The Bachelor of Theology enables students to get an introduction to the areas and process of theological study. Rather than looking at comparative religion, the degree investigates Christian traditions, texts and practice through study in fields such as Biblical Studies, Historic and Systematic Theology as well as Ministry Studies. It examines theology alongside issues critical to contemporary society and culture, and can include a major in a related field. This course is offered in conjunction with the Adelaide College of Divinity Inc. (ACD) and most classes are held at the ACD campus at Brooklyn Park. The Bachelor of Theology combined with further professional training can prepare graduates for a variety of community and service-based roles including ministry in some denominations.
