Working with professionals from other disciplines, community groups, government, developers, planners prepare strategies and plans that guide and regulate the future of towns and cities. You develop skills in environmental assessment and the sustainable use of land resources, community consultation, planning legislation, economics, transport planning, urban design, plan making and project management. Gain important practical skills by working with sophisticated technology and tools including satellite imagery for 3D mapping and visualisation of the natural and built environment.
