Overview

Students undertake the Diploma in Engineering as an alternative pathway that will guarantee entry into UniSA's most popular engineering degrees.

The Diploma in Engineering is a two-year program providing a direct pathway into various engineering specialisations including Civil; Civil and Construction Management; Civil and Structural; Electrical and Electronic; Electrical and Mechatronic; Flexible Entry; Mechanical; Mechanical and Advanced Manufacturing; Mechanical and Mechatronic; and Surveying; as well as a number of "Pathway to Masters" degree options with UniSA.

In the first year, you'll complete introductory courses in your disciplinary area of focus as well as core courses that will develop your critical writing, communication, numeracy, and research skills. In the second year, you'll start studying first-year courses from your linked UniSA degree. You'll access the same lectures and tutorials as other first-year bachelor students, but you can rely on UniSA College for extra support.

Upon successful completion of the diploma, students will seamlessly transition into the second year of their selected UniSA degree.
