The Diploma in Health Sciences is a multidisciplinary degree that aims to prepare students for a career or further study in the diverse modern healthcare environment. The flexible program of study consists of core topics providing a fundamental understanding of anatomy and physiology, health systems, and social and psychological determinants of health and well-being essential to health practice. Option topics provide you with the opportunity to tailor your learning experience to a broad range of health-related topics.

This course also prepares graduates for further study in a health-related discipline, for example the Associate Degree in Health Sciences (SATAC code 249021) or the Bachelor of Health Sciences (SATAC code 244351), which articulate directly with this Diploma.
