The 12-month Diploma in Health (Sport) qualification provides a pathway via competitive entry into health degrees at UniSA including Exercise and Sports Science, Health Science (Nutrition and Exercise), Human Movement, and double degrees such as Exercise and Sports Science/Nutrition and Food Sciences, Exercise and Sports Science/Psychology (Counselling and Interpersonal Skills), Human Movement/Business (Sport and Recreation Management), and Human Movement/Nutrition and Food Sciences.
Kickstart your career by studying a combination of courses that will develop your academic skills and provide discipline-specific knowledge relevant to your future degree. Core courses will develop your critical writing and communication skills, and provide fundamental knowledge of anatomy, coaching science, and human physiology. You'll study in a highly supported learning environment with additional assistance from UniSA College staff. You'll also have direct access to UniSA learning resources, campus facilities and support services.
Upon successful completion of the diploma, you can use your Grade Point Average (GPA) to competitively apply for the degree of your choice. This highly versatile program prepares you for entry into all UniSA degrees*. At the end of your studies, you'll graduate with two qualifications and will be well on your way to that unstoppable career.
*Credit arrangements may differ from program to program, and need to be negotiated upon commencement.
