Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in English other than EAL or at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL); Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in one of Art Creative Practice, Product Design And Technology, Media, Creative And Digital Media (VCE VET) I, Art Making And Exhibiting, Systems Engineering or Visual Communication Design.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 or equivalent.

20th century design, Brand and identity design, Communication for design, Design for web, Design studio, Digital design, Introduction to photography.

Potential Career Outcomes

Depending on the area in which you decide to specialise, Bachelor of Design graduates may find employment in advertising, animation, design consultancy, graphic design, packaging design, publishing, research and development for manufactured products, design of commercial and residential interiors and public spaces, media and entertainment studios, video games development, web and interactive digital design.
