You will explore the foundations of anatomy and physiology specifically in:

• the musculoskeletal system and the normal physiology of nerve and muscle function
• cardiovascular system
• the respiratory system as well as other basic cellular and genetic processes
• the control of movement and motor skill acquisition
• how the human body interacts with its environment and the subsequent optimisation of human performance
• biomechanics
• psychology
• response to acute and chronic exercise.
