Overview

This course is for students who do not qualify for entry to bachelor degrees or students seeking additional skills development before undertaking a bachelor's degree. In this course, students study a mix of introductory and first-year nursing subjects. Successful completion of the diploma allows entry to the JCU Bachelor of Nursing Science. This course is currently waiting on an outcome from the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMAC) regarding a change to entry pathways where block credit is awarded. In the meantime, students can apply for individual credit assessments as per the Diploma of Health(Nursing Pathway) at JCU.
