Overview

The Diploma of Health Sciences offers a broad foundation in biological and chemical sciences. Over three semesters, you will gain an understanding of basic and applied sciences, including the anatomical, molecular, and physiological processes of human health and function. You will develop technical, scientific, and research skills using some of the latest research equipment. The Diploma of Health Sciences provides a pathway into either the Bachelor of Biomedical Science, the Bachelor of Health Sciences, or the Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science. Students must select the related pathway (biomedical science or exercise and sports science) during their Diploma of Health Sciences study to receive varying credit into their chosen program upon successful completion of the diploma.
