Overview

This course will provide students with the underpinning knowledge and skills in information technology (IT), and creates an entry pathway into the Bachelor of Information Technology.

Throughout the course, students develop a range of skills in computing and information technology and have access to the latest hardware and software to enhance their studies.

The Diploma of Information and Communications Technology combines theoretical and practical approaches, equipping students for a career in this growing industry.

In addition to being a standalone qualification, the course provides an entry pathway into Bachelor of Information Technology.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 26 in any English.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 26 in any English.
