Overview

Our Diploma of Information Technology is designed in collaboration with industry to provide you with the knowledge required to get started in the ICT sector. You can graduate with this standalone qualification or use it as a pathway into further study in a bachelor's degree.

Upon completion, you will be equipped with foundational knowledge in topics such as computer hardware and software, networking and programming, website development and cloud computing. By the end of this course, you will have gained a thorough introduction to IT professional practice. Learning outcomes

  • Demonstrate knowledge of computing technologies in solving practical business IT problems
  • Appraise IT technologies in cloud computing and software development for building practical business IT applications
  • Apply principles of human-centred design to IT solutions
  • Propose IT solutions to diverse stakeholders for their approval
  • Interpret professional obligations, ethics, and social responsibilities in a professional IT context
Note: Flexible study options are available including on-campus, online or a hybrid of both.
