The Diploma of Software Engineering introduces you to the fundamental concepts of computer programming, cybersecurity, database design and management, and prototyping engineering designs.
The diploma is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. If you successfully complete the diploma and meet the entry requirements, you can progress directly into the second year of the following degrees without losing any time, as you’ll receive credit for the units you complete in the diploma: Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) specialising in Software Engineering, Bachelor of Information Technology.
