Overview

Suited to those who have decided to study an IT degree but don't have the entry requirements after completing VCE, have an unscored VCE, or are considering going to university after completing VCAL.

This diploma will prepare you for undergraduate study and will include first year undergraduate IT subjects allowing you to fast track into second year of your chosen IT degree. There are 9 IT degrees to choose from, 8 with specialisations including Big Data and Analytics, Business Information Systems, Cloud and Enterprise Computing, Games Development, Mobile App Development, Networking and Security, Professional Practice and Software Development.

Our IT undergraduate degrees and specialisations have been developed alongside trends and changes in the industry, and in accordance with the Australian Computer Society's accreditation standards.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 18 in any English.

Potential Career Outcomes

Successful completion of the Diploma of University Studies (Information Technology) allows you to progress to the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Information Technology at Federation University.
