The Undergraduate Certificate in Creative and Professional Writing is an introduction to the fundamentals of creative and persuasive writing. Designed for aspiring creative writers, professionals looking to update their writing skills, and also people looking to change to a career requiring contemporary writing skills.

You will graduate with a writing portfolio that can be used to demonstrate your skills to future employers in a range of areas such as professional communication, copy-writing, website content writing, freelance writing, advertising, art writing, digital and media communications, journalism, technical writing, creative writing, editing and proofreading.

The course is offered 100% online and part-time over 12 months so you have the flexibility to combine study and work.

Upon successful completion of the Undergraduate Certificate in Creative and Professional Writing you can pathway into the Bachelor of Arts with full credit (60 credit points).

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any English.
