Overview

This course is a fast-tracked Undergraduate certificate courses online, subsidised by Commonwealth Government.

The Undergraduate Certificate in Industry 4.0 aims to provide an understanding of the theory and practice of industry 4.0 approaches and the technical and human dimensions of disruptive change. This course aims to provide an understanding of data and information processing and analytics and an awareness of key cybersecurity issues. This course will provide an opportunity to integrate workplace knowledge and skills within a structured project.

On completion of this course you students be able to understand and competently use industry 4.0 skills and knowledge to bring about innovation in the workplace and understand, manage and utilise data within an industry 4.0 context. Students will be able to identify strategies and actions to maintain cybersecurity and communicate effectively with other technicians, associated professionals and the supply chain using a wide range of communication technologies. Students will develop ideas and solutions appropriate to the organisational, social, cultural, economic and environmental contexts in which they are applied.
