Overview

This course offers you a six-month qualification in developing foundation knowledge and coherent theoretical and technical skills to gain an entry-level position in the growing IT industry. Your qualification will have applications across a range of industry contexts including web development, programming, information and communication technology (ICT) management and network administration.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any Mathematics.

Majors

Information systems.

Potential Career Outcomes

Completion of the course will prepare graduates for roles in web development, programming, computing and network support, networking and systems administration, and information management in sectors including government, banking and finance, retail, and manufacturing.
