Overview

The Undergraduate Certificate in Science and the Environment combines a range of units from the Bachelor of Science to prepare graduates for further work or studies in Environmental Science. Core areas of study include basic biology, local and global ecology, study of Australian ecosystems, and planetary health. Upon successful completion of this certificate, graduates will be able to transition into the Bachelor of Science and gain credits for the four units completed.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any Mathematics.

Majors

Science and the Environment.

Park ranger, government worker (local councils), environmental project officer.
