Overview

The Undergraduate Certificate of STEM Foundations is your pathway to a career in the Sciences. It would particularly suit if you are considering a career change and want to enter into the world of science. It provides an introduction to the skills and knowledge needed to pursue further study in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It explores numeracy, literacy, critical thinking and e-literacy demands of higher education studies and the professional workplace, and assists students who are new to higher education to transition into a university learning environment. Successful completion of this qualification will enable entry and four units of credit towards the Diploma of University Studies (DOUS) or the Bachelor of General Studies (BGEN).
