This subject can be a bit dry if statistics isn’t your thing. The level of maths isn’t too hard at all, it’s more about applying and understanding concepts.

Understanding the concepts for this subject CAN be difficult as the proofs for statistics are tricky. I personally did not understand all of the concepts behind statistics. The lecturer is quite good as he makes things into a digestible sort of level.

As for the textbook... that’s a big fat mess to try understand and I didn’t bother (after a while).


In general, rote learning this subject may be easier than trying to fully understand the concepts and this subject doesn’t have the highest pass rate.
