Assumed Knowledge
Really there's nothing you need to know - I went into it knowing nothing about sociology at all. You will learn that you actually knew a lot already but you probably didn't think it was social theory as much of it is normalised/ingrained in society.
Comments
I found this subject really interesting at times as it challenged aspects of society I had never thought of before. At the same time, I felt like it seemed to be teaching students to be overly politically correct by over-analysing innocent parts of society that don't have a hidden meaning. Regardless the content was still quite intriguing and discussions in tutorials were very interesting too.
