Overview

Students develop expertise in construction, gaining practical skills to coordinate and supervise a range of construction processes. The influence of civil engineering and construction arms students with the skills to make a difference in the infrastructure of construction. Through the program students develop skills in problem-solving analysis, engineering design and construction management as well as specialised skills in built environment, quantity surveying and building services design. Students gain the knowledge to solve problems in the workforce and produce the highest quality work. Knowledge of the planning, monitoring, technical, logistical, financial and legal aspects associated with building and construction projects prepares students for the professional role of their choice in building and construction, or construction management.
