Overview

At La Trobe, our accounting curriculum has been designed in collaboration with industry partners.

In our Bachelor of Accounting, you’ll gain the technical and human skills you need to adapt and thrive in our era of digital transformation.

You’ll develop vital skills in accounting, information systems, finance, economics, management and data analytics tools. You’ll also build a deep understanding of financial accounting, business law, management accounting, auditing and assurance, forensic accounting and taxation.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.

Agribusiness (Bendigo, Melbourne and Online), Business analytics (Melbourne only), Digital business (Bendigo, Melbourne and Online), Economics (Melbourne only), Enterprise (Bendigo and Online), Event management (Melbourne only), Finance (Melbourne and Sydney), Human resource management (Melbourne and Sydney), International business (Melbourne and Sydney), Management (Bendigo, Melbourne, Online and Sydney), Marketing (Bendigo, Melbourne, Online and Sydney), Sport management (Bendigo and Melbourne), Tourism and hospitality (Melbourne only).
