Overview

Students who think they might like to study teaching but are not sure yet, can apply to study the Bachelor of Arts conditional entry to Master of Teaching (Primary R-7). It provides students with flexibility, choice and guaranteed entry to the 2 year Master of Teaching (Primary R-7) following successful completion (to a required standard) of the 3 year Bachelor of Arts. On entry to this pathway students receive academic counselling to ensure they will complete the requisite topics in the Bachelor of Arts to successfully transition to the Master of Teaching (Primary R-7).The Master of Teaching prepares graduates to enter the teaching profession with confidence and competence. Although the majority of education graduates go on to employment as a teacher in the public or private sector, some choose to follow other pathways.
