Overview

The Digital Revolution has just begun. Today's young people will experience more change in their lifetimes than any generation before. Studying Digital Humanities will prepare you for the twenty-first-century workplace with space to pursue your passion for the humanities and social sciences. Don't get left behind - get future-ready.

What will you do?

Our Bachelor of Arts (Digital Humanities) has a strong focus on teamwork, collaboration, and industry internships. You will:

  • explore how digital technologies are changing our world at an ever-increasing pace
  • learn to think critically about technological transformation and emerging innovations
  • understand how digital technologies can be used to understand society and the human condition
  • gain hands-on experience using digital technology to solve complex problems
In addition to Digital Humanities, our Bachelor of Arts program allows you to explore other interests by taking a minor (or another major) in a different discipline area. You can choose elective courses from the broadest range of study areas in the Arts in South Australia.

Where could it take you?

You might research the effects of social media - or write articles about emerging cultural and tech trends. You could teach digital skills, helping others reach your level of literacy. Perhaps you'll consult with creatives and thought leaders who want to build an impactful presence online, or integrate new technologies into their organisation.
