Overview

As a Philosophy student, you won’t always find answers – but you will learn how to ask good questions. You’ll learn to question everything that is puzzling, disturbing, exciting and new. You’ll develop your critical and rational faculties, build your perspective for impartiality and fairness in considering the views of others, and foster a cautious, reflective attitude towards others when it comes to your current opinions and beliefs. You will be set up to become a competent thinker, leader, and innovator, who will make a real impact. The critical thinking and analytic skills that you gain while studying philosophy have been recognised by employers as the most important attributes for the future workforce.
