Overview

These are double degree programs consisting of a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music. Separate parchments for each degree are awarded. This qualification enables students to pursue a broad range of interests in music and the arts in a self-designed, integrated academic program spanning 5 years. Within the Bachelor of Music, students can specialise in Classical Performance, Classical Voice, Composition, Jazz Performance, Music Education and Pedagogy, Musicology, Popular Music, or Sonic Arts. In the Bachelor of Arts, the study of foreign languages is of particular significance to vocalists, while history or anthropology may be of particular interest to an ethnomusicologist.
