Overview

This degree prepares students to tackle business problems in the global marketplace, and understand the complex world of logistics, supply chain and trade industries. 

Studies consist of a common core in business, major studies in supply chain and logistics, and the option to choose additional subjects in logistics or a minor or electives from another business discipline in areas, such as international studies, languages or geospatial science. 

A business design project completed in the final year consolidates the theoretical and work experience components of the course.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.

Business, Business (Management), Business (logistics), Business (operations), Design (Business), Information Business, Logistics, Procurement, Supply chain management, Transport and logistics.

Potential Career Outcomes

Most graduates pursue careers in either transport companies or organisations that specialise in purchasing, supply chain management, contract distribution, manufacturing and retail.

Job roles include procurement officer, supply coordinator, materials logistics coordinator, inventory planner, inventory analyst, and other roles that require the effective and efficient integration of all logistics activities.
