The Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology is a four-year degree that develops expert knowledge about how exercise can improve health and well-being and manage chronic disease. It prepares graduates for an exciting career as an accredited exercise physiologist (AEP). Clinical exercise physiologists are skilled inassessing, prescribing and delivering exercise programs to assist clients better manage theirhealth and range of chronic disease conditions. Medicare and many private health insurers recognise and cover services supplied by accredited exercise physiologists. Students complete more than 500 hours of clinical placement at the on-campus Health Clinic and external locations including hospitals, local government and private health providers.
