Good management practices are critical to the success of modern businesses. La Trobe's major in management gives you a solid foundation in the theories, concepts and processes that drive the management of contemporary organisations.

Offered through La Trobe's Bachelor of Commerce, you'll investigate critical elements in the management of modern businesses, including ethical practices, the management of organisational change, the development of strategies and competitive advantage, international business management and more.

La Trobe's Bachelor of Commerce gives you the transferable and technical skills you need to prepare for the challenges of automation, the power of big data and analytics, and the rapid evolution of business and consumer technologies.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
