Overview

This double degree offers a unique skill set. Develop your analytical, strategic and numerical skills for commercial applications. You will be able to extend your expertise as an actuary to join the next generation of commercial leaders.

Commerce allows you to build specialist skills in one of these areas: accounting, behavioural commerce, business analytics, econometrics, economics, finance, management studies, marketing science, mathematical foundations of econometrics or sustainability and responsible management. Actuarial science provides foundational understanding of finance and economics. Combined with these majors you will have expert knowledge across all three and will be highly valued for your training in quantitative skills and techniques.

Benefit from both degrees and be fully equipped to pursue a career in a broad range of commerce fields.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 27 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in one of Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 (or Year 12 equivalent).
