Overview

Marketers are the ultimate go-between in the business world, responsible for bringing brands and consumers together. Marketing studies can lead to working in media, publishing, PR, retail and brand management, advertising or event management.

Our Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) has your career goals in mind. Upon graduating you'll be ready to launch straight into your career thanks to our Future Ready employability program, designed to systematically build each of the elements of your personal brand: your professional identity; experience; job-ready skills; and networks.

When you begin, our unique business foundation program, co-created with industry, assists you as you transition to university study and provides a solid foundation of business skills. From there you will focus on your specialisation in marketing.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: As for Year 12 or equivalent.

Majors

Marketing.

Potential Career Outcomes

Graduates of the Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) can enter the marketing profession in a range of careers including marketing officer, marketing manager, social media manager and product manager.
