Overview

This dual degree combines the specialised knowledge of the Bachelor of Commerce with the flexibility of the Bachelor of Business Administration - ideal for the business leader of the future. The course teaches specialist knowledge in at least one business discipline, with opportunities for wider study in business-related fields. Students gain an understanding of organisational behaviour and an appreciation of the ethics and probity in commercial and interpersonal transactions. The course comprises thirty-two semester-length units. In addition to eight specified units, one Commerce Major of eight units is chosen and electives in many other disciplines are available as part of the business administration component of the course.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: As for year 12 or equivalent.
