Overview

The communication component develops critical awareness of how communication influences people's lives. The course examines many forms of communication, including verbal, non-verbal and written, as well as various technologies through which information is transmitted. The arts component offers 40 study areas, giving students the opportunity to explore the subjects they love across the humanities, social sciences and languages. It provides a flexible structure with a range of disciplines to choose from, and produces graduates with skills in written communication, critical thinking and problem-solving. Prerequisites

Majors

Refer to Bachelor of Communication and Bachelor of Arts. Students cannot take the journalism and mass communication, media and digital cultures, or professional writing and communication majors in the Bachelor of Arts.
