Queensland University of Technology - Kelvin Grove
This program examines innovative ways to promote healthy lifestyle choices and prevent diet-related disease through use of communication.
Health professionals with superior communication skills and ability to use the power of media technologies make significant contributions to improving the quality of life, both locally and internationally. After introductory studies in human anatomy, health science and communication, you complete units that explore health education and behaviour, exercise and sports nutrition, and all facets of media including social platforms, mythbusting, and globalisation.
During final year, you can complete a professional placement in industry or a project that refines your skills in development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
