Overview

Curtin’s Bachelor of Design (Advertising and Design) combines the foundational knowledge of the business aspects of advertising with the development of critical thinking and creativity through design-focused learning and practice, to prepare students for a career in creative advertising and related industries.

The course emphasises delivering content through authentic learning experiences that reflect real-world industry standards and practice. Studies include marketing and account management, as well as opportunities to develop skills in research, idea generation, art direction, creative strategy, and campaign development. Students will also have the choice to expand their knowledge and skills to include either brand management or copywriting.
