Overview

This combined course prepares graduates to teach in secondary schools with specialist knowledge in two different curriculum areas. To develop discipline expertise, students select one major and one minor from literature, mathematics, history, visual arts, drama, business studies, music or study of religions. Geography is also available as a minor only. The teaching component covers key areas in learning and educational theory and fosters development of the basic professional knowledge, skills and attitudes required of an effective classroom teacher.
