Learn to design and maintain critical infrastructure such as bridges, buildings, airports, roads, railways and water systems.

Focus on core courses in road design, soil mechanics, hydraulics and hydrology, geotechnical engineering, and reinforced concrete design. Tailor your studies specialising in civil engineering, structural engineering or construction management.

Access industry-standard facilities on campus, including the largest strong floor in Australia, along with high-tech testing and computer-modelling equipment.

Following successful completion of the Bachelor degree, you will build and extend on your advanced water and civil engineering skills within the Master of Engineering (Water Resources Management) program.

By combining your undergraduate studies in civil engineering, with, Master of Engineering (Water Resource Management) you will advance your skills in project management and research methods and extend your technical and theoretical knowledge in water and environmental engineering, graduating ready to pursue, career supporting our all-important waterways, resources and infrastructure.

Graduate career ready by completing the Professional Practice Program as part of your degree. Gain at least 450 hours of skills and competencies through, range of engagement activities such as placements, internships, guest lectures, industry panels, site visits, networking opportunities and events. You can also take up opportunities to complete projects that tackle engineering challenges for real clients, from the tender phase through to feasibility, concept development and detailed design.

UniSA also offers entry through the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Flexible Entry) pathway (434242) to students who have completed 20 credits of SACE Stage, Mathematics at Grade C- or above.

Graduate with, degree accredited by Engineers Australia and be eligible for graduate membership, along with comparable membership with international institutions. Complete your bachelor's degree and, master's qualification in just five years through our Fast-track to Masters package. UniSA's specialised engineering degrees share common first-year courses, so students have the option to transfer into, different specialisation and receive study credit for successfully completed courses. This excludes the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Flexible Entry).
