Overview

This course will fully qualify you as an Engineer in just four years. You will have an outstanding practical and theoretical preparation, with a rich selection of specialist engineering electives and strong industry links and be ready for employment as a professional engineer in one of ten engineering fields.

You may explore your interests and expand your career opportunities by completing a minor in another area of engineering.

Once you have completed your Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) you may wish to further your study with the Master of Engineering or a research degree. Different fee arrangements apply for these courses.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 27 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in one of Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in one of Chemistry or Physics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 (or Year 12 equivalent).
