Overview

Become a leader in environmental science and make a difference to the living and non-living environment, and prepare for a broad range of rewarding careers in environmental science. This course offers a strong science focus with majors in environmental geography or integrated land and water management. During this course, students develop a wide range of skills through a combination of theoretical and practical work, including both laboratory and field work and the option to complete an industry placement or short research project. Students will learn to think systemically and systematically about natural resource management and social and economic development. The course will provide students with a broad foundation of knowledge in environmental studies and develop generic skills in the sciences and social sciences and humanities. Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 26 in any English.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 26 in any English.

Majors

Environmental Geography, Integrated Land and Water Management.
