Overview

Build a strong understanding of how our financial system works, and develop the skills you need to manage money well – for big corporations, small businesses and governments. Learn how to make decisions about cash flow, asset and risk management, capital markets, stock portfolios, international finance and forecasting and budgeting in banks and financial institutions, major companies and organisations across the public and private sectors.

In this course, you’ll learn how to manage and invest money in the form of assets, equity and liability. Your studies will also cover the financial policies and products that allow money to flow efficiently between individuals, businesses, government and other organisations.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 27 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in one of Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 (or Year 12 equivalent).
