Overview

Fine Art and Media Communication unite in this unique, globally-relevant double degree that blends contemporary fine art with the literary and narrative skills of professional communication.

In the studio-based Fine Art degree, you will work with some of Australia’s most successful artists, art theorists and cultural commentators to develop your individual visual language and create an art practice of relevance and value to contemporary culture.

In Media Communication you can choose between four specialisations: journalism, media, public relations or screen. You will learn from leading industry professionals developing your practical and work-ready skills and graduate ready to shape the future of contemporary art, media and communication.

This double degree feeds your artistic passions by developing your skills in a medium in fine art and merges them with your interests in journalism, media, screen, or public relations to open new avenues to you where art meets media communication.
