Food scientists study the properties of food and ingredients to ensure their safe use and consumption. This degree will provide you with a solid background in mathematics, natural science and applied science to equip you for a career in a variety of food-related professions. You’ll work on food product design, professional food practice, food systems management and more, in addition to conducting research for a thesis.
