Overview

The Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice (Honours) has been designed to provide an enhanced program of study for applicants of exceptional academic ability. Working with key staff and students with similar capabilities, the degree includes an enhanced research training experience, the option to complete up to two Masters level option topics and a minor dissertation. This will provide opportunities for students to work together as they pursue their studies, develop their interests and share ideas. Students will be provided with a range of enhanced academic activities such as working more closely with visiting Judicial Fellows and participation in postgraduate student seminars and programs.Graduates of a Flinders law degree satisfy the academic and practical requirements underpinning eligibility to be admitted as a barrister and solicitor in South Australia, and while some students will become the judges and prosecutors of tomorrow, others will chart their course in business, diplomacy, social justice and human rights.
