Graduates from this course will have advanced, real-world knowledge and skills to promote healthy nutrition and engaging and safe physical activity within a wide range of settings including public health, health education, or health promotion. And will be able to advocate for healthy nutrition and safe physical activity to promote healthy individuals and communities across a wide range of settings including public health, health education, or health promotion.
Multi-disciplinary learning allows students to study topics across health, nutrition, exercise, business, education and psychology, gaining diverse knowledge and skills to promote healthy communities. The additional focus on communication skills enables graduates to promote nutrition and exercise using a variety of communication media, while topics on counselling teaching basic skills on influencing healthy behaviour change.
