Build your understanding of fundamental sciences and the factors influencing the global pharmaceutical industry. You'll then focus specifically on key areas such as pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology and pharmacokinetics, and drug discovery and development. You can choose from, range of specialist courses to tailor your studies, covering areas such as research and development, manufacturing and commercialisation (including sales, marketing, regulations and legal requirements). Through elective choices, you can gain advanced knowledge in biosciences, chemistry or marketing.
Access purpose-built laboratories on campus and in the Bradley Building, located in Adelaide's BioMed City on North Terrace. You'll also complete an industry project or placement during your degree.
On graduation, you'll be eligible for membership with the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) and other relevant professional bodies such as AusBiotech.

All students who, as part of their program, undertake activities where interaction with patients/the public is required, such as in field or clinical placements/visits and in University clinics and gyms, must satisfy the pre-placement requirements prior to commencement. These may include:
High achieving students may wish to consider the double degree Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science, Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours).
